The weekend starts off with a “Meet and Greet” Friday night at 6:00pm-9:00pm. Location: (stay tuned). Register on line. Onsite registration will be available from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Meet fellow participants, have a delicious dinner & bevy’s, check out the different rides as well as get fired up above the day ahead on the fresh waters of Cowichan lake. Register online and save the slow poke fee of $35.00 .

Saturday morning will kick off at 8:00am -9:30am for Registration and Breakfast. 9:30 – 10:00am with a mandatory Captains meeting (for location: stay tuned). All Captain’s must attend. Tee shirts and maps will be handed out showing the card stop locations, fuel dock locations, launch facilities, Safety first, fun second.
Start Time: 11:00am (to be confirmed – stay tuned)
Start location will be McKenzie Bay. About 4 miles from the Cowichan Lake boat launch. Please use caution when cruising (40 mph max) up to the start point from the launch. New this year will two different boat groups. Heat #1 (0-60 mph) and Heat #2 (61 mph and up). We will sound (1) air horn blast for Heat #1 to start and (2) air horn blasts for Heat #2 to start. (this will be at all starts)
1st card stop will be Spring Beach. Norm De Wit dock – (Arrival) 11:20-11:30am. This is located at the end of the North Arm. 11 miles (17.7km) from the start point.
2nd card stop will be Heather Camp. (Arrival) 11:50am-12:10pm. This is located at the opposite end of the lake. 17 miles (27.5km) from Spring Beach. After picking up your poker chip, we will be taking pictures of each pair of boats as the pass by our “Photo Pass” boat.
Lunch Break (location: stay tuned) 1:30pm – 3:00pm for a B.B.Q. Lunch with hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages & live entertainment will be by the band “The Radiators”. There is plenty of room for anchoring your rides or rafting up together. Note: out of town guests get first dibs on Moorage pass. A complementary shuttle will be available for pick ups. After lunch we will all gather at the old Youbou Mill site (Arbutus cove) (Arrival 3:20-3:30pm) to start again to card stop #3.
3th card stop will be Caycuse camp. (Arrival) 3:45pm-3;50pm. This is located 10 miles (16.1km)west from the Youbou Bar & Grill.
4th card stop will be the old mill site near Youbou. (Arbutus Cove) (Arrival) 4:00pm-4:10pm. This is located 1 mile (1.6km) west of Youbou. This is our last stop before heading in for the “Valley Heat” Dinner & award presentations.

Dinner & Awards (6:00pm – 12:00pm) Dinner, awards & prizes. Following will be our DJ taking requests with an open dance floor. Shake that booty…
